CNBC Seeks Participants for Business Reporting Workshop at Convention

CNBC is thrilled to be hosting an educational workshop focused on business reporting on July 20 at the NAHJ 2018 International Training Conference and Career Fair. This invitation-only workshop is geared toward current on-air reporters and multimedia journalists who are planning to attend the NAHJ 2018 International Training Conference and Career Fair in Miami, FL. Interested candidates must apply to be invited to attend the workshop.

The Business Reporting Workshop will feature:

  • An interactive session designed to teach journalists how to quickly uncover, identify, and critically assess the most impactful information in a financial news story, then clearly deliver that story on camera for a sophisticated audience
  • Conversations with CNBC professionals to identify the most effective tools to improve storytelling
Participants in the workshop could have the opportunity to further engage with CNBC. After the workshop, some participant may be selected to visit CNBC headquarters for a camera test and interviews with members of CNBC’s executive team.

To request an application to this free workshop, interested applicants should send their resume and contact info to bizreportingworkshop@cnbc.com. Completed applications must be submitted to CNBC via email no later than 11:59pm PT on June 15, 2018.
